BOLTON manager Neil Lennon has been charged with misconduct over comments he made to the media following Saturday’s 4-3 Championship defeat at QPR.
The Football Association’s charge against Lennon alleges that his post-match comments about referee Darren Drysdale “allege and/or imply bias… and/or bring the game into disrepute.”
After the game, Lennon said: "I've never seen a more biased performance from a referee in a long time. He gave QPR everything he possibly could."
QPR secured victory over Bolton with a goal from Jay Emmanuel-Thomas in the fourth minute of injury-time.
Lennon has until 6pm on Thursday, October 8 to respond to the charge.
