THE NEPHEW OF LEGENDARY Dutch footballer Clarence Seedorf is on trial with a League of Ireland club.
Quentin Seedorf, 22 is on trial with Cork City and scored in a pre-season win over UCD on Tuesday.
The younger Seedorf has been with City for the last two weeks.
He is expected to play the upcoming friendly against Limerick outfit Treaty United this week.
The defender had previous spells at Polish second division outfit Zaglebie Sosnowiec and came up through the ranks at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.

If he's anything like his uncle and has a career like him, the City will have a gem on their hands.
Clarence Seedorf is best known for playing for huge European clubs like Real Madrid AC Milan. Inter Milan, Ajax, and Sampdoria in his career.
He is only one of a few players that managed to win the Champions League 4 times in his career, once with AC Milan, two with Real Madrid, and once with Ajax in the 90's.
Cork City will play first division football for the first time since 2020 next season.
Their first game will be against Dublin side Bohemian's on the 17th of February.
