IRELAND'S AARON CONNOLLY is a major doubt to make Ireland's squad for their Euro 2024 qualifier game against France next month.
Since moving on from his poor loan spell at Serie B side Venezia. The Ireland youngster seems to be finding his feet once more.
The Galwegian has been in fine form for Hull since moving on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 23-year-old has started in four consecutive game and scored brace against QPR in January, but now looks set to miss Hull's next five league games with a broken toe
Connolly is expected to be out for a month, which means any hope of making the Ireland squad for the France game is remote.
Hull head coach Liam rosenior speaking to BBC Sport said, "Aaron Connolly has come in, we got him up to match sharpness, then he gets an innocuous ball into his toe and he’s out for a month.

“It’s frustrating. Aaron has been fantastic for us. I want to make sure he gets fit and gets right over the next few weeks and is back for the run in.
“I think you are looking at the international break for him to be back. It still gives him a good number of games to make his mark, which he has done since coming in.
Connolly's last game for Ireland was the U21's 2023 play-off defeat to Israel in September.
His last senior appearance came against Azerbaijan in September 2021.
