Ryanair passenger starts up impromptu Irish trad music session on flight to Dublin

WE’VE all passed the time on a flight with some in-flight entertainment – but perhaps not quite like this.

One passenger on a Ryanair flight from Copenhagen to Dublin picked up his fiddle and serenaded his fellow passengers as they soared in the air.

Alan Doherty of the band ALDOC then performed his own little trad session to ease the mid-flight tedium, much to the delight of others on board.

Several people in the cabin can be seen using their smartphones to capture the event, while others clap along.

All the while cabin crew can be seen getting on with their duties in the aisles despite the mid-flight soundtrack.

At the end of the tune, the man is given a well-earned round of applause.

Daniel Kelly posted the video to Twitter, saying: “There was an impromptu trad session on the flight from Copenhagen. Is this a new feature Ryanair?”
