Woman who claimed to be 'in love' with a ghost reveals they are now 'engaged'

THE WOMAN who made headlines earlier this year after claiming she was in a 'romantic relationship' with a ghost has revealed they are now engaged.

Amethyst Realm went viral online after a string of appearances on This Morning in which she revealed she not only had 'sex' with a ghost but was also hopingto have children with the spirit.

Now the 30-year-old has announced she is planning to wed her ghostly lover after the spirit popped the question during a romantic trip to Wookey Hole Caves in Somerset.

Realm revealed the news to The Sun, which comes just months after she encountered her spiritual soulmate during a business trip to Australia at the start of the year.

"We're soulmates, meant for each other, and that'll never change," she told the tabloid.

"The fact that he's a spirit is by the by."

Realm, who works as a spiritual counsellor, explained that the ghost doesn't have a name and may not necessarily be male, though that's of little concern to her.

The Bristolian previously left Eamon Holmes completely flabbergasted on This Morning when she claimed to have joined "the mile-high club" with her ghost partner.

Now Realm has gone one step further, detailing to The Sun exactly how her spirit lover popped the question.

"There was no going down on one knee - he doesn't have knees! But for the first time, I heard him speak," she said.

According to the 30-year-old the words "will you marry me?" could be heard echoing around the cave in a voice that was apparently "deep, sexy and real".

"It's hard to explain but, until that point, his words were inside my head. But, on that day, the words were outside," she added.

Realm's friends and family are said to be happy for her.

The 'pair' are now planning a Pagan handfasting ceremony, with Realm reiterating her previously stated desire to one day have children with the ghost.

She previously spoke of her first encounter with the ghost and her plans to have kids during an interview with New Idea magazine.

"One day, while I was walking through the bush, enjoying nature, I suddenly felt this incredible energy. I knew a new lover had arrived," she said.

"It's pretty serious. In fact, we've even been thinking about having a ghost baby."
