Women make the most of Irish heatwave by setting up paddling pool outside Dublin bar

A PAIR of quick-thinking Dublin partygoers found the perfect way to soak up the summer sun during a day of drinking in the Irish capital.

Eager to catch the sun alongside a drink or two, and all while topping up their tan, the two women set up their very own paddling pool outside a Dublin bar.

It wasn’t long before their efforts were gaining recognition on social media either with popular Dublin drag queen act Victoria Secret filming them frolicking in the warm waters over the weekend.

The two bikini-clad women drank and were very much merry in the clip shared online.

"Only in Dublin would two legends buy a paddling pool to sit in while drinking in a lane,” Victoria Secret wrote alongside the footage. “Obsessed!!"

The concept of setting up your very own pool party in the street evidently struck a chord with his followers, many of whom were eager to follow suit.

"Love this!! Raging I didn't think of it first,” one fan wrote.

"Brilliant,” another added.

The two women were singled out for plenty of praise for their efforts and eventually went viral.

Reports suggest a selection of revellers and passers-by got involved, with one fan even spotting a baby enjoying a cooling dip in the pool.

With temperatures set to soar even further in the coming months, their paddling pool escapades could soon become commonplace across Dublin and the rest of Ireland.

It’s just good to know that, come rain or shine, the Irish know how to have a good time.
