Harry Potter Yoga has arrived in Dublin and is ready to cast a spell on you

THE MAGIC of Harry Potter is being channelled into weekly Dublin yoga class with a rather magical difference.

Wizard Yoga is the new exercise and well-being trend taking the Irish capital by storm.

It's the brainchild of Harry Potter enthusiast and yoga instructor Siobhán Carroll, who decided to channel her love of all things Hogwarts into a weekly class.

For one hour every week, Harry Potter enthusiasts will be invited to head down to the Liffey Trust Studios on 117-126 Upper Sheriff Street every Tuesday at 7pm.

Once there they'll experience a fitness class designed to help improve your fitness as if by magic - sorry, couldn't resist.

An avid Harry Potter reader and fan of all things JK Rowling, Carroll started out offering wizardry-led yoga classes at a selection of festivals and conventions for fans of the books.

Now she's decided to go out on her own with a weekly class in Dublin that will be running in the Irish capital for the next four weeks.

Carroll has been busy promoting the new class, posing for photos wearing a signature cloak and wand combo.

"Tomorrow in Wizard Yoga we'll be doing Harry Potter and the Goblet of yoga!" she wrote.

"Expect mermaids and dragons and plenty of breath of fire! I can't guarantee that there will be no dead Hufflepuffs at the end of this class but I can guarantee we'll have a lot of fun!"

Anyone wanting to come along is encouraged to bring a yoga mat, some water and any other Harry Potter paraphernalia of their choosing.

This could include robes, wands or some of Harry's trademark glasses.

Alternatively, those taking part are welcome to ditch the Potter garb and come along as pure muggles.

Classes are being offered at €15 a go or, alternatively, you can splash out for all four classes upfront for just €50.
