A MAN in his 20s has died following a collision in Ireland this morning.
The incident happened on the N4 between Edgeworthstown in Co. Longford and Mullingar in Co. Westmeath.
The male driver died when his car hit a wall at around 6am.
He was the only person in the vehicle.
His body has been removed to Mullingar Regional Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
A section of the N4 has been closed between Edgeworthstown and Rathowen, Co. Westmeath as a result of the collision.
