IRELAND made it a St Patrick’s Day to remember by securing the Six Nations Grand Slam against England at Twickenham.
It was a comfortable 24-15 win for Ireland in England’s backyard to secure only their third Grand Slam.
England scored just three unconverted tries in front of their own fans, the last from Jonny May no more than a consolation with the clock in the red.
The victory was all the more special, coming as it did on the feast day of Ireland’s patron saint.
While celebrations will no doubt continue long into the night in London, Ireland and around the world, we’ve rounded up the best reaction to the historic win on social media…
