GARDAI are awaiting the results of a post-mortem after a woman was found dead at a house in Co. Donegal.
The body of the woman aged in her 50s was found at a property on the Brook Court estate in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal on Monday night.
The body was removed from the house and taken to Letterkenny University Hospital.
A Garda forensic team spent yesterday at the scene carrying out an examination.
Gardaí say the outcome of an upcoming post-mortem will determine the course of their investigation.
It is not yet known whether the woman suffered any injuries.
A Garda spokesman said that the incident is currently being treated as a sudden death.
