SHOCKING CCTV footage has emerged showing a white van crashing through a level crossing in Ireland.
The video also shows a cyclist riding across the tracks just seconds later.
Luckily an automated system alerted the train driver to what had happened and he stopped the train several hundred metres away.

The incident took place in Co. Galway on Monday, September 11 and left drivers and rail passengers stranded for an hour.

Ireland's national rail service Iarnród Éireann released the footage showing how the driver of the white van failed to stop at the Kiltartan crossing on the N18 Ennis to Galway road at around 7.35pm.
Posting the video on Twitter, they said: 'Don't be this #WhiteVanMan or #crazycyclist. Take notice of warning signals #AlwaysSafe'
Gardaí are investigating the incident, which saw the van drive away after it crashed through the barrier.
