SHEEPDOGS could be going into retirement – after two Irish brothers came up with an unusual way to manage their sheep.
Carlow brothers Declan and Paul Brennan are the brains behind “Shep” – the world’s first drone sheepdog.
Fitting out their Yuneec Q500 drone with a camera, the Brennans attempted to herd their sheep on the family farm with it.
On his Facebook page, Paul Brennan seemed impressed with the video, which has been doing well online.
"Delighted to say that "Shep the Drone" has just broken the 50,000 views barrier on YouTube in less than 48 hours," he said.
Since then, it has gone well over 200,000 views!
