"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!"
Ah, Irish mammies. They're always your biggest supporter and think everything you do is magic (unless you're leaving the house without a coat, in which case you'll catch your death you amadán!).
It turns out Irish actress Saoirse Ronan's mammy is no different, as a video of her reaction to the news of her daughter's fourth Oscar nomination has set social media alight.
The video shows Monica Ronan and the family pooch, Fran, in adorable matching jumpers as they watch the Oscar nomination announcements on a laptop.
As the nominations in the Best Actress category is read out, Mrs Ronan can be seen taking deep breaths-- you know, to calm the nerves.
Actress Cynthia Erivo is announced first, for her role in Harriet, and we think the similarities in the first syllable of the name may have gotten hearts racing.
Then came Scarlett Johannson for her role in Marriage Story, followed at last by...
"Saoirse Ronan in Little Women".
At least we assume that's what was said, because the presenter only got as far as 'Saoirse' before Mrs Ronan let a roar out of her that wouldn't seem out of place at Croke Park on All-Ireland final day.
She then shouted "FOUR! FOUR!", a nod to her daughter's impressive achievement of being the second-youngest person ever to have been nominated for four Academy Awards.
What a legend.
You can watch the video, whichwas sent in to Ray D'Arcy Radio, below.
