WE'VE had accordion solos and even full-on sessions on Ryanair flights in the past – now we’ve got a stunning rendition of Ave Maria at 30,000 feet to add to the line-up.
Classically-trained singer Kayla McDonagh was returning from her cousin’s hen do in Benidorm when she was asked to perform by flight attendants.
The 25-year-old from Galway stood in the aisle as she sang the Latin lyrics to the famous tune.
Kayla, who performs as a member of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra Chorus, is more used to singing at venues such as the National Concert Hall Dublin.
However she showed no mid-air nerves during her soaring a cappella showing.
As her performance drew to a close, a hushed cabin erupted in applause, with some calling for an encore.
That's one way to make a post-hen do flight from Benidorm go in a bit quicker.
