WIND and rain is sweeping across Britain and Ireland as Storm Abigail hits - and this video from Galway earlier this week shows exactly what we are bracing ourselves for.
An amateur photographer on Twitter managed to capture this video of a man walking against the wind in Salthill.
The west coast of Ireland is set the be the first hit by this major storm today - but this video was taken days before Abigail's arrival.
