Video: Cork singer Stephanie Rainey's emotional video is viral hit

A CORK singer’s new music video has been tugging at people’s heartstrings since she released it yesterday.

Stephanie Rainey wrote her song Please Don’t Go in memory of her nephew who passed away suddenly a few years ago.

In the video to the emotional ballad, Stephanie invited people to sit in front of the camera and think about their lost loved ones.

Among those featured in the video is Facebook vlogger Cian Twomey, who last his father to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) in 2011.

The video has already been viewed more than 1.5 million times in the 24 hours since its release.

"It’s hard to put into words what this video means to me and how grateful I am to the people who took part - it wasn’t easy," Stephanie wrote on her Facebook page.
