US Comedian who went viral in Ireland after falling in love with GAA brought to Dublin to watch the All-Ireland final

A US Comedian who became an overnight sensation in Ireland with his awe-struck reviews of Gaelic Games such as Hurling, Camogie and Gaelic Football was given the gift of a lifetime when Tourism Ireland brought him to the Emerald Isle to watch the All-Ireland final.

Josh Pray, who became an honorary Irish celebrity with his astounded reactions to watching the Irish sport, posted a video on Saturday with the caption “This is living! Ireland is beyond beautiful!”

He thanked Tourism Ireland and the GAA on Saturday for giving him the chance to watch Ireland’s national sport live, ahead of the clash between Dublin and Kerry on Sunday September 1st.

His trademark overreactions were in full swing as he recorded the video in Dublin’s iconic Croke Park, and most will agree it was a fantastic game to watch live for the first time-- despite the match ending in a draw.

Pray is making the most of his unexpected trip to Ireland, appearing on radio shows and even getting a brief half-time entertainment slot during the match.

Most recently he has been in a local Dublin pub learning how to pull a pint of Guinness—and trying the drink for the first time.

We think he must have enjoyed it, because in pure Josh Pray fashion he announced:

“I feel like I’m 25 years old again! I just pulled a pint of Guinness and I drank it! SLÁINTE! UP THE DUBS!”

It remains to be seen whether Pray will stick around long enough to watch the replay between The Kingdom and The Pale on September 14th, but one thing we know for sure is that he will always be a fan of Ireland after this.
