US COMEDIAN and honorary Irishman Josh Pray is back with a new video reacting to Irish culture.
This time it’s not the Irish sport of Gaelic Football, Hurling or Camogie he’s astounded by, but rather the athletic and impressive ‘sport’ of traditional Irish dancing.
Everyone remembers the moment they watched the iconic Riverdance for the first time—as Chandler Bing from ‘Friends’ put it about Michael Flatley, “His legs flail about as if independent from his body!”
Now Josh Pray has been catching up on the majesty that is Irish dancing and is responding to it in the classic Josh Pray Way—with a video entitled “Irish Folk Dancing is for the Elite”.
Irish River Dance should come with a “do not try this at home” label 😩😩😩😩😩 the things y’all do with y’all legs are unfair —> https://t.co/I0aysA2SIn pic.twitter.com/p2LgNtGfHm

He talks about how genuinely intimidating the Irish dancing posture would be if the dancer was threatening you—hands by the sides like a soldier, legs flailing and tapping away making the ground shake, and the dancer staring straight into your eyes with a deadpan, unblinking expression.
We’ve never seen it that way but…. he has a point.
Josh posted the newest video to his Twitter account, saying the dance should come with a ‘do not try this at home’ label—and that the things Irish dancers do with their legs are ‘unfair’.
He also told followers that he was now looking for an 'Irish gal'—which he might just find, with several upcoming live comedy shows set to take place in Ireland.
