A FRENCH woman has taken to an Irish football forum to urgently find an Irishman named Cormac that she met during the Euros.
Posted yesterday on the You Boys In Green forum, a French woman named Rita said she was "urgently" seeking an Irish fan.
"I was hoping to have some help from the You Boys in Green supporters club in finding an Irish football fan called Cormac who I met here during the Euros this year," she said.
Rita says she doesn't have any other information about Cormac apart from his first name but she needs to contact him about an "important matter"
"If you think you know Cormac or have any ideas about how I might contact him I'd be very grateful if you could email me via the following email address: [email protected]."
Cormac and Rita met at La Place du Change in Lyon, France where, she says, the "Irish fans gathered together on Saturday and Sunday evenings during the Euros."
Rita says it was in the early hours of the morning when they met on June 27, the night after the Ireland - France game.
"We met while the crowd was singing Don't Take Me Home," Rita added. "He had lost his friends. If this message reaches Cormac, he needn't worry, I just need to touch base with him about something."
