Uncovered!: Deleted Twitter account reveals Meghan Markle's love of Dublin's nightlife

MEGHAN MARKLE or to give her official title after today's Royal wedding, the Duchess of Sussex, was once a clubber in Dublin's fair city.

The American actress and the newest addition to the British Royal family following her marriage to Prince Harry made a beautiful entrance today in a Givenchy bridal gown by British designer Claire Waight-Keller.

Five years ago, however, the Duchess of Sussex was a million miles from becoming the wife of one of an heir to the British throne.

As the #RoyalWedding hashtag trends on social media channels today, cheeky Irish tweeters have retrieved an entry from 2013 which was posted by Ms Markle after a visit to the Fair City.

One Twitter user, Michael McLoughlin wrote: "Five years ago Meghan Markle was in Diceys promoting €2 drinks... gives me great hope."

Following a day of sightseeing and perhaps sampling the trademark Irish delicacies on offer in Dublin, the Duchess of Sussex had written; "Dublin, you are beyond lovely. Having the best day and excited for a night @diceysgarden and @krystlenightclub".

And the Duchess of Sussex will have an early opportunity to show her new husband the delights of the night life in Harcourt Street as their first trip following the wedding is to the Irish capital, it has been reported.

A source close to the Royal couple admitted Dublin "will possibly be the first foreign trip after their wedding".

The visit is tipped to happen in June or July.
