GARDAI are investigating the death of a two-year-old boy who died in hospital after being struck by a car yesterday evening in Bray, Co. Wicklow.
The incident happened at a halting site in the Silverbridge area of the town at around 4.30pm.
The boy was rushed to Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin, Co. Dublin where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The scene has since been sealed off and is to be examined by forensic investigators.
