TWO people have won themselves a very pretty penny this weekend.
In both Co. Dublin and Co. Kerry, two lottery players have won half a million euro each.
The ticket bought in Leinster was purchased from Dunnes Stores, Wendell Avenue, Carrickhill in Portmarnock and for Munster, Bunyan’s Shop on Doon Road in Ballybunion also sold another ticket.
According to IrishMirror, Angela Bunyan of Bunyan's shop in Munster gave her congratulations to
“January has been a long month, especially when it came to getting paid, so this really is a lovely time to get a half a million cash bonus.
They urged the winning customer to pick up their winnings: "If you are one of those two lucky ticketholders, be sure to sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 01 836 4444 and we will make arrangements for you to come to the National Lottery Winner’s Room to get your prize”.
Bunyan also credited the Irish luck to getting far ahead: "Ireland is on a roll at the moment when it comes to EuroMillions Plus wins with four so far this year. It is a definitely a case of the rub of the green for our players. We hope it continues for the rest of the year."
