THE result of the EU referendum has been called. Britain has voted to leave the European Union, after 40 years of membership.
Many people who went to bed last night before the result was known, woke up to the news that the Leave campaign has won by 4 per cent.
On Twitter, the majority of the reaction has been one of shock and upset with the hashtags #WhatHaveWeDone and #NotInMyName already trending.
