A 'VOTER FRAUD’ hotline set up by Donald Trump’s campaign team to gather evidence the election was rigged has been inundated with prank calls.
The line was established to "Help stop voter suppression, irregularities and fraud" but has been targeted by TikTok and Twitter users in recent days.
Several unnamed sources have told ABC that the hotline has turned into a “nightmare” for the campaign staff running it, with many left answering multiple “prank calls from people laughing or mocking them over Biden’s win before hanging up”.
In some instances, staffers have also been sent “disturbing unsolicited adult images” according to Axios reporter Jonathan Swan.
Trump campaign aides manning the “voter fraud hotline” describe mostly fielding prank calls from lefty teenagers and dealing with some disturbing unsolicited adult images.

Oh it’s true. It’s a nonstop prank-fest that is driving the campaign staff insane. I’ve been sent some of the visual offerings but honestly ... it’s better left unpublished. https://t.co/Ko2mHlsmsX

The situation escalated to such an extent that the Trump campaign team was forced to change the hotline’s number in a bid to stop the slew of prank calls.
While some appear eager to indulge in mockery, others seemed intent on keeping the hotline busy to prevent others from getting through.
I believe @gtconway3d warned you not to call the Trump voter fraud hotline at 1-888-630-1776.
That would be so wrong.
In their time of crisis, calling 1-888-630-1776 would distract them from their vital work.
So please don’t call 1-888-630-1776.— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) November 8, 2020
A spokesperson for the President told The Hill the hotline has been “very effective”, however his daughter-in-law Lara Trump has criticised the “shameful” campaign of prank calls
She tweeted: “To those who have spammed our other numbers: it’s shameful that you don’t think it’s important to have integrity in our elections. It’s fundamental to our republic.
“Keep spamming. We will keep changing the number.”

Changing the number has done little to stem the flow of prank calls being made to the number.
One US comedian shared a video of himself calling the number to claim he saw an individual closely resembling the Hamburglar mascot from McDonalds stealing votes.

A third called up claiming Rudy Giuliani was in his house trying to capture his daughter “in a large net” while another called up to turn themselves in for voting twice…for Trump.

On TikTok, meanwhile, a woman also went viral after reporting that “there’s an obese turtle that has rolled onto its back and is flailing in the hot sun,” in a reference to the remarks made by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper over the weekend.
