The New Ross native was a front-seat passenger in a black Peugeot hatchback driven by her mother Breda, 52.

Breda Dolan was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital from the scene with serious injuries and remains fighting for her life today.

A van and a pick-up truck were also involved in the accident but both drivers and passengers escaped with minor injuries.
