AN IRISH mum saw her Christmas wish come true as she was reunited with the son she last saw four years ago under tragic circumstances.
Peggy Corrigan from Louisburgh, Co. Mayo last saw her Boston-based son Michael in 2015 when he returned for his brother Sean’s funeral.
Sean, who worked in Boston with Michael and other brother Pat, died tragically in a fall while clearing snow from his roof.
Daughter Christina wrote to The Ray D’Arcy Show saying her mother was struggling with Sean’s death and would dearly love to see Michael again.
After surprising a host of audience members throughout the show, host Ray D’Arcy made Peggy’s dream come true as Michael and his family emerged from backstage.
Peggy, a mother of 15 and grandmother to 43, will now celebrate her birthday next week with her son.
