POLICE investigating a suspected acid attack on a three-year-old boy in a store in Worcester have arrested three men in London.
The men, aged 22, 25 and 26, were identified and tracked down following the release of CCTV footage.
All three have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
The incident occurred at around 2.15pm on Saturday in Home Bargains, a discount store in Shrub Hill Retail Park, Tallow Hill, Worcester.
The boy was taken to hospital with serious burns to his arm and face. He has since been discharged but the long-term implications of his injuries are unknown at this time.
Detective Inspector Tony Garner said: "We'd like to thank everyone who shared our appeal over the weekend and contacted us with information; all of this is helping us to build up a better picture of this incident.
"We're continuing to urge anyone else with information to contact us."
A 39-year-old man from Wolverhampton arrested yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm remains in police custody.
