This Advent Calendar Is Filled With Nothing But Whiskey And Is Available To Pre-Order Now

CHRISTMAS HAS officially come early for whiskey fans.

Summer may have only just been and gone, but that hasn’t stopped Flaviar from getting in the festive mood a whole three months ahead of schedule.

The result is their now legendary whiskey advent calendar, a firm favourite among spirit drinkers or anyone looking to simply get a little merry this December.

While Flaviar is better known for its alcohol subscription services, its annual Whiskies of the World advent calendar is fast becoming a firm favourite with connoisseurs and novices alike.

The whiskey advent calendar went down an absolute storm last year, in the increasingly congested boozed-based festive calendar market.

Some fans may have been fearing that the Covid-19 pandemic would have put an end to plans for a repeat entry this year.

But thankfully this alcoholic extravaganza is back and even better than ever with 24 tiny bottles of whiskey from such far-flung locales as Scotland, Canada, Israel, and India.

This year’s offering is similarly eclectic with two dozen 1.7-ounce bottles of rare whiskey on offer.

They include tipples like the famous Tennessee’s Uncle Nearest Bourbon, Kilchoman 2010 Vintage from Islay’s farm distillery, and a brand new release from Compass Box.

It’s not a case of knocking each and every whiskey back either, with the calendar coming complete with a tasting glass and a few notes to inform you of your spirit of choice.

As any good whiskey fan knows, however, such indulgence does not come cheap, with the 2020 Flaviar whiskey calenda currently available for pre-order for $250 (£190).

Worse still, you’ll want to move quick to secure one – they had completely sold out by September last year.
