THE Pyramids and the Sphinx and the London Eye were among almost 70 of the world’s most iconic sites that went green for St Patrick’s Day.
Other sites included the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Burj al Arab in Dubai and the Sky Tower in New Zealand.
The initiative was carried out by Tourism Ireland.
