Snow, wind and ice warnings issued for all of Ireland

DESPITE how cold Ireland is at the moment, it's only set to get worse.

Warnings for snow, ice and wind have been issued from Met Éireann for the whole country as conditions are only due to get more frosty.

According to Met Éireann , counties of Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick have been issued a status yellow wind warning, with speeds predicted to rage from 45km/h up to 85 km/h. This warning is set for Wednesday 13th December to Thursday 14th December at 10 pm.

For these counties and the rest of the land, there's a snow-ice warning in place.

Heavy showers during tomorrow and Thursday is said to bring hail, sleet and snow at times, with collections of ice predicted.

The status yellow ice-snow warning is set in place from Wednesday 13 December 2017 at 11 am to Thursday evening at 8 pm.

Drivers, pedestrians and indeed all Irish residents are being advised to stay home as much as possible to prevent accidents or loss of lives.
