GERRY KELLY has been filmed removing a clamp from his car, prompting Sinn Féin to comment on the matter.
A policing spokesman for the North, Kelly was filmed using bolt cutters to remove the clamp from his car last Friday.
According to journal.ie, pictures and a video have leaked online incriminating Kelly in the removal of the clamp.
The evidence of the incident has incurred a comment from Sinn Féin, who made a statement:
"Yesterday, Friday 2nd February, Gerry Kelly MLA returned to his car after an early morning gym session to find that his car had been made immobile by a clamp just after 7.20 am.
"He removed the clamp from the front wheel. He left the device nearby and drove off to pre-arranged meetings.
"His solicitor is dealing with the matter and he will be making no further comment at this time."
