A SINN FÉIN MP has posted a video having a cheeky pop at the DUP and the controversial RHI scheme.
Barry McElduff, MP for West Tyrone, previously made headlines with a video of his epic journey into ‘DUP territory’ at Stormont to get a Snickers bar.
He has now posted a new video of his latest excursion across enemy lines to get to the vending machine, having a cheeky pop at DUP leader Arlene Foster in the process.
Mrs Foster was Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Investment when the RHI scheme, run by her department, was introduced.
However with participants subsidised £1.60 for every £1 of eco-friendly fuel bought, they could effectively “burn to earn”, heating their premises while making a profit.
A public inquiry into the flawed scheme – which could cost Northern Ireland £700million – got underway this week.
In his latest video, Mr McElduff tries to get a Snickers from the ‘DUP vending machine’ at Stormont with a new £1 coin and – well, you can see where this is going…
