IT'S no secret that there simply aren't enough houses available for people wanting to rent or indeed, buy in Ireland.
The shortage of properties available has seen many couples or graduates move back in with parents as they can't afford to rent or buy property.
One of the counties where this is the worst is in Dublin especially, as many need to remain in the capital for work purposes.
A new housing estate in Clonsilla, Co. Dublin has attracted buyers however the queue for people waiting to inquire about the houses is astounding.
In a picture captured by Garreth MacNamee, more than 20 people have been sitting in the cold and rain since Monday afternoon to get a chance of buying a house on Friday.
The potential buyers are seen sitting on deck chairs and camping chairs, sat in sleeping bags and underneath umbrellas.
The picture shows a shocking side to the reality of trying to buy a house in Dublin in today's society.
