A MAN is due in court tomorrow charged with the murder of a woman over the weekend.
Shane Murphy, 27, of Little Lane, Louth, Lincolnshire will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning (Monday).
He is charged with the murder of 35-year-old Marie Gibson of Lacey Gardens, Louth.
Police had earlier revealed they were called to a house in Lacey Gardens at 1.40pm on Saturday after reports a woman had been injured.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and police arrested a 27-year-old man.
Officers have appealed for anyone who was in the area around Lacey Gardens on Saturday, June 9 between about 1–2pm and thinks they saw anything suspicious to call 101 and quote incident 199 of June 9.
