GARDAÍ HAVE appealed for information from the public after a teenage girl was reported missing from her home since Saturday, November 9th.
17-year-old Katie Blake was last seen in her hometown of Callan, Co Kilkenny in the early hours of Saturday morning.
She is described as being 5’8” in height and of slim build with long hair.
Conflicting reports suggest that hair colour is either blonde, recently dyed pink or black with pink streaks.
A social media post (which you can view here) from Katie’s aunt says they are “all very worried” for her safety and stressed they ”just need to know she’s okay”.
The Kilkenny teen’s phone has been switched off and her Facebook account has been deactivated according to the post.
It is suggested that the teenager may have made her way to County Cork and her family have urged people to get in contact if they believe they may have seen her.
A further post from Katie's aunt Louise has thanked the public for their assistance so far and says "We love you Katie, please just pick up the phone".
Anyone with any information on Katie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on +353 56 777 5000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
