GARDAÍ HAVE appealed for assistance from the public following the disappearance of a woman in County Carlow.
Kathleen Lawlor has not been seen since yesterday, Tuesday 21st of January.
The 58-year-old woman, from Bennekerry, Carlow, was last seen in Carlow town centre at approximately 9:50am yesterday morning.
She is described in a Garda statement as being around 5'1" in height, of slim build with shoulder length grey hair and blue eyes.
When last seen she was wearing a purple coat, dark trousers, black footwear and was carrying a handbag.
Both Gardaí and her family are said to be concerned for Ms Lawlor's safety.

Reports from local residents say Ms Lawlor was last seen in the Castle Hill area of Carlow Town at 9:50am, walking in the direction of Graiguecullen after getting out of a taxi at the Potato Market.
Gardaí are now appealing for anyone who may have seen Ms Lawlor, or anyone who may have information on her whereabouts, to come forward.
