THE search continues for €7.5 million Lotto winner in Ireland.
Two big money lottery winners in Ireland remain unknown as no claim has been made on a €7.5 million winning ticket in Co. Tipperary and a €250,000 winning ticket in Co. Kildare.
One week after a €7.5 million jackpot ticket was sold in the Eason bookstore in Thurles shopping center, Co. Tipperary, there seems to be no sign of the lucky winner as the National Lottery confirmed that no contact has been made yet to claim the prize.
Just to add to the woe of unclaimed money, another big-ticket winner was announced in Naas, Co. Kildare yesterday, as the Maxol Service Station in the town became the confirmed seller of a €250,000 winning ticket.
As of yet, nobody has come forward to claim the prize.
The same service station sold a €1 million Euro Millions winning ticket to a family in May who planned to buy their dream home with their winnings.
The store owner, Conor Sherry, said: “With two life-changing lottery wins in the space of a couple of months, we are certainly proving to be a lucky charm for our customers.
"The store is situated in a busy residential area while we also have a lot of trade with the large multinational companies in the area. We will be celebrating the win in-store today and we’ll certainly be reminding all of our customers to check their tickets.”
There now stands almost €8 million of potential dream-to-reality money for two very lucky people in the country, and Lotto HQ are urging people to check their ticket slips once more.
The Euro Millions jackpot for today is an estimated €30 million, so folks, when you buy your tickets make sure you check twice!
