IRISH bookmaker Paddy Power took to the streets of Los Angeles as they challenged Americans to pronounce Irish names.
The company was in the States for the recent fight between Manchester Irishman Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.
However the Paddy Power team used the opportunity to test Americans’ knowledge of Irish monikers.
As expected, the likes of Aoibhinn and Niamh left most people stumped, with one bewildered man asking: “Where’s the V?”
However given the bookmakers’ record of controversial promotions, the name game unsurprisingly took a rude turn.
I mean, who ever heard of Báulebaug O’Shaughnessy?
