RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta’s award-wining current affairs programme Cormac ag a Cúig will be broadcasting live from London this week.
The show will be looking ahead to the upcoming General Election and possible repercussions for Irish-British, and British-EU relations.
On Friday, April 17 presenter Cormac Ó hEadhra will chair a panel of speakers for the show, broadcast live from the BBC HQ at Portland Place, for a broad discussion of likely outcomes of the election, possible repercussions, life for the Irish in Britain, and opinions on politics and the economy at home in Ireland at present.
A qualified barrister, Cormac is a native of An Cheathrú Rua in Connemara, Co. Galway, and has been living in Dublin for many years.
Last year he was named Radio Presenter of the Year at the Celtic Media Festival.
His programme has also just been shortlisted for best radio programme of the year at Gradaim Chumarsáide an Oireachtais, the national Irish-language media awards - an award previously won in 2013.
The Cormac ag a Cúig election special will be broadcast at 5pm live online here
