Roy Keane found not guilty in Manchester

ROY Keane has been found not guilty of causing harassment, alarm or distress to taxi driver Fateh Kerar at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.

The Republic of Ireland assistant manager has been cleared following an alleged incident in Altrincham, Manchester in January.

Speaking to Keane district judge Mr Birrell said: "I have listened with great care to the evidence on your case. The burden of proof is on the prosecution.

"In my view, taking as I have said a careful view of the evidence, the prosecution has failed to discharge their burden. Therefore I find you not guilty."
