AROUND €15.3million will need to be spent on repairing roads in Co. Donegal following last month's 'biblical' floods.
A total of 59 families have been displaced for their homes with applications for financial assistance having been received by the Irish Red Cross.
"Solutions been found for 31 families," Donegal County Council said. "In many of these cases, this is an interim solution until such times as they are in a position to move back to their home.
"Some have already moved to their new accommodation, and in other cases arrangements are being finalised or the Council is awaiting responses to offers made."
A total of 115 bridges suffered flood damage - a quarter may need to be replaced, which could take up to a year.
Clean-up costs and costs for housing and other facility repairs are still being calculated.
People are also being advised to exercise caution when driving the 1,500km road network in Inishowen where to date more than 600 issues have been identified.
A number of rural roads across the peninsula have also been closed due to damage caused during the floods.
