POLICE have released details of a person they want to speak to after a man was assaulted and left in a critical condition.
The 25-year-old victim remains in hospital following the serious assault, which happened in the car park of Chineham Village Hall, Thornhill Way, Basingtoke at around 7.45pm on July 11.
Hampshire Police now want to speak to Eamon Harnett, 31, as part of their investigation.
He is described as about 6" 1' tall, of broad build and has brown hair.
He was last known to be living in Ascension Close, Popley, Basingstoke.
“We believe he may have information which could help us with our investigation, but despite our best efforts, we haven’t been able to track him down,” said a police spokesperson.
