POLICE are investigating after a teenager sustained multiple stab wounds in West Belfast last night.
The 17-year-old male sustained the injuries shortly after 2am on Saturday following an altercation with a man near the junction of Bell Steel Court and Glenwood Court.
The youth was treated at hospital for stab wounds to his back and arm, although none are believed to be life threatening.
The man involved is described as being around 40 years old, of heavy build with gelled-down blond hair.
He was wearing white Lacoste trainers, grey shorts and a grey and navy Mackenzie polo shirt.
Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Woodbourne PSNI station on 101 quoting reference number 216 09/06/18.
