GREATER Manchester Police have confirmed there have been a number of fatalities and people injured following an major incident at Manchester Arena.
Emergency services are currently responding to reports of an explosion at the arena where an Ariana Grande concert had been taking place, police have said.
Police have set up a cordon and have advised people to avoid the area.
Witnesses have reported hearing a bang and screams as people rushed to leave the arena, which is located in the centre of Manchester with a capacity of 21,000 people.
