Imitation police cars were stopped by officers, it has been reported.
Gardaí in Monaghan shared a picture of three black and white police cars, which appear to be American style police cars.
The three motors were stopped by Gardaí on the N2 road out of Monaghan.
It's not known where the cars came from or where they were heading.
The Garda Traffic account joked: "Monaghan Roads Policing Unit meet all sorts on the N2 every day but this is a first..."
