FORMER Taoiseach Enda Kenny only just passed on the baton of Irish leadership to Leo Varadkar, but he’s already swapped the shirt and tie for something a little less formal.
The 66-year-old Co. Mayo native was snapped in Howth on a Dublin bike, wearing a vintage Mayo tracksuit and a backwards cap.
Here is the picture in all its glory…
Yo, his palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There's vomit on his sweater already: Enda Kenny pic.twitter.com/k7hC4z2Xe0— Daragh (@DaraghQuinn) June 21, 2017
Straight outta Mayo.
Mr Kenny has since tweeted that he was out on the bike training for the Ring of Kerry Cycle and thanked former Green Party Minister John Gormley for introducing the bike rental scheme.
Bless you @JohnGormley for those Dublin Bikes!
Got a few miles in this eve b4 @RingOKerryCycle doing it this year for Derrynane Lifeboats.

One excited witness to the spectacle tweeted: “Just saw Enda Kenny cycling through Dublin on a Dublin bike wearing a vintage Mayo tracksuit. Wednesdays don't get more eventful than this".
