OH dear… A Belgian TV station caused a bit of a furore on social media for painting Ireland with the Union Jack.
Co. Clare man Damien Keane was watching Manchester United’s clash with Club Brugge on Tuesday night when he noticed something that wasn’t quite right.
A map of Britain and Ireland appeared on the screen boldly emblazoned with the Union Jack as the flag for both countries.
Apparently, the graphic designer needs a lesson in geography…
