ENTRY for the inaugural Paddy Fun Run – a joint fundraising initiative between Irish Youth Foundation UK and RESPECT – is now open.
The event will take place on Friday May 31st in Battersea Park, London at 6.30pm, starting with a 10k run and followed by a very special after party.
The Irish Post is the exclusive media partner of the Paddy Fun Run.
The after party will include live music acts as well as a top Irish DJ.
Each individual that registers for the run is committing to raising at least £100 in sponsorship and each registered runner will automatically gain complimentary entry into the after party.
All runners who register before this coming Friday (April 12) will go in a draw to win 2 extra complimentary tickets to the after party plus a magnum of champagne.
Zoë Desmond, head of fundraising with Irish Youth Foundation UK said: “There are a huge number of people on board already and there's a great buzz being created about it.
“Not only is the Paddy Fun Run the perfect excuse to get fit for summer and fundraiser for two fantastic charities, it is also a fantastic way to kick off summer in London with your fellow Irish peers!”
