A SINGLE ticket has scooped Saturday’s huge €8.3million Lotto jackpot, the National Lottery has confirmed.
The winning numbers were 3, 4, 5, 19, 26 and 43, with 24 the bonus.
The winning ticket was sold in Co. Cork, according to the National Lottery.
No one matched five numbers plus the bonus, however 41 people matched five numbers to claim just over €1,000 each.
Recent figures from the National Lottery showed Co. Cork has had 173 jackpot winners, the second highest in the country after Dublin (572).
However when jackpot wins per head of population were worked out, Cork ranked 15th out of 26, with Louth the luckiest county.
Saturday’s win though will boost the Rebel County’s ranking and likely change someone's life forever.
