POLICE in Cheshire pulled over a battered car that looks like it has come straight from the scrapheap.
The driver was reported for having no insurance and using a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
The image of the car was posted to the Cheshire Police Taskforce Twitter account, who revealed it was stopped in Crewe.

They claim it was once a red Rover, although it’s hard to tell given the condition of the car.
However one Twitter did point out the likeness to Father Ted’s battered Rover he planned to give away as a raffle prize in the Irish sitcom.
"It's no use Ted, you'll never get it absolutely right…"
